Turmeric Milk - The Soothing Drink

Working turmeric into your diet is a big win. Not only is it colourful and flavourful but has potent antioxidants and fights inflammation. Our Apple Cider Vinegar with Turmeric and Honey is a great way to get your daily dose in the morning.

Alternatively, if you are an evening person we love this comforting recipe that gives you a hug from the inside, and a little help to get a restful nights sleep.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of milk (any variant will do. If you are looking for a dairy alternative we like cashew milk with its natural sweetness)

  • Turmeric (1 teaspoon)

  • Pinch of black pepper (to help the body absorb the powerful curcumin found in turmeric)

  • Something sweet. 1-2 teaspoon honey or maple syrup

Options:

  • A touch of cinnamon, ginger, chilli, vanilla, or coconut oil

Method:

  1. Bring your choice of milk to the boil

  2. Add the turmeric and the black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes

  3. Stir in the โ€˜something sweetโ€™ and your โ€˜optionsโ€™

  4. Serve in your favourite mug, relax and enjoy
