Apple cider vinegar sour
A bold, wellness-forward take on a classic sour
Ingredients:
2 oz cloudy apple juice (unfiltered for depth)
¾ oz apple cider vinegar (raw, with the “mother”)
¾ oz maple syrup or honey syrup (adds body + warmth)
½ oz fresh lemon juice (for that essential sour bite)
½ oz aquafaba or egg white (for silky texture & foam)
2 dashes Angostura bitters (complexity)
Ice
Dehydrated apple slice + cinnamon dust (for garnish)
Method:
In a shaker, combine apple juice, ACV, maple syrup, lemon juice, aquafaba/egg white, and bitters.
Dry shake (no ice) for 15 seconds to build a foamy texture.
Add ice and shake again until chilled.
Strain into a coupe glass.
Garnish with a dehydrated apple slice and a dusting of cinnamon.
🔥 Why It’s Next-Level?
The aquafaba/egg white foam gives it that sophisticated craft cocktail feel.
Lemon + ACV = complex sourness with a gut-friendly twist.
The dehydrated apple + cinnamon dust garnish makes it IG-worthy.
No alcohol, but feels like a premium cocktail.
Would you want to spike it with something (maybe bourbon or calvados) or keep it non-alcoholic.
