Jones Medjool Dates
Guilt free naughty snack. This is an amazing recipe, so quick and easy to do. The great thing is the kids love them so move aside sugary after school snacks!
Ingredients
All you need is good quality dates we like (dates are packed with fibre)
Nut butter we’ve used peanut from @pipandnut (loaded with protein)
Dark chocolate 70% or higher (we all know dark choc is a powerful source of antioxidants)
Method
Slit the dates with a sharp knife straight down the middle vertically and remove the stones
Fill the cavity with as much nut butter as you can/like
Squeeze dates together carefully
Melt the dark choc and spoon over generously
Put them in the fridge for as long as you can wait!
They really hit the spot and crush those sugar cravings. Dates are a great snack to add into your diet and help you get that variation into your diet by mixing up the fruits and vegetables you eat over the week
