Overnight Porridge

The best overnight oats ever and it uses our surprisingly tasty apple cider vinegar which is great for your gut health.

Who isn't in a rush in the mornings? This is the best thing to wake up to hassle free and really easy. The added apple cider vinegar makes it really tart and moreish (but trust us on this, only the very best quality ACV will give you the Yum-factor).  

We like to double up or even triple up this one for the whole family. 

The kids love to create their own toppings - there are no rules.  You can throw the store cupboard at this one - whatever floats your oats!

Chopped banana, maple syrup, chopped nuts.  We love walnuts and the odd spoon of nutella has worked its way in once or twice! Rest assured it’s a great way of getting lots of fibre and that daily dose of ACV into your family’s diet with absolutely no complaints. 

Ingredients (one serving)

1 cup of good quality rolled oats (organic even better)

ΒΎ cup of coconut milk 

2 tablespoons of apple juice 

Β½ tablespoon of Jones Apple Cider Vinegar* (or our honey acv works)

Method

Put all the ingredients in a bowl - cover and put into the fridge overnight.

In the morning you can go wild with your toppings (depending if you overslept or not!)

We like raspberries, chopped dates, coconut flakes and a drizzle of our very favourite welsh honey from the farm.  But really anything goes.
